By using the Bula Base kiosk at any participating bar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the kiosk.
Bula Base provides a guest quiz kiosk and customer-list platform for kava and kratom bars and botanical lounges ("the Service"). The kiosk is placed at participating bars ("Bar Partners") and is operated by Bula Base, run by Chris Jolly. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By confirming your age on the kiosk, you state that you meet the age requirement. Bula Base and Bar Partners may verify age and refuse service.
Giving your name, phone number, or email address is voluntary. By doing so you agree to be added to the list of the Bar Partner where you used the kiosk, and to receive marketing messages from that bar and from Bula Base about promotions, events, and specials. Bula Base may link your profile across participating bars and offer related features, such as a "botanical passport" and a consumer app, which may have additional terms.
If you give a mobile number and agree to texts, you agree to receive text messages from both Bula Base and the Bar Partner. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of getting a drink recommendation.
Bula Base does not control how often a Bar Partner contacts the people on its list. Bula Base's own messages are sent at a frequency we set and describe at sign-up.

Recommendations from the Bula Base quiz are for information and entertainment. They are based on what you tell us about your preferences and are not medical advice. Bula Base and Bar Partners make no promises that any recommended product suits your individual health needs.
Talk to a healthcare provider before consuming kava, kratom, or other botanical products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
Offers and first-drink discounts shown on the kiosk are provided at the Bar Partner's discretion. Bula Base is not responsible for their availability, value, or terms. Offers can change without notice. One offer per visit unless stated otherwise.
The content of the kiosk, including the quiz, recommendations, educational content, design, and software, belongs to Bula Base or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. BULA BASE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bula Base and Bar Partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the kiosk, including personal injury, adverse reactions to botanical products, or data loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of St. Johns County, Florida.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at bulabase.com/terms with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the kiosk after a change means you accept the updated terms.
